Description
Greek barrel-aged feta cheese, made with pasteurised sheep and goat's milk, is matured in traditionally made beech wood barrels for at least three months. During maturation the cheese adopts the flavour and aroma of the barrel itself which adds to the intense flavour.
Roussas barrel-aged feta won the coveted 3 stars at the Great Taste Awards in 2015. Judges commented on the “clean and vibrant flavour, with a lemon finish” and enjoyed the acidity, saltiness and creaminess of the cheese.
